About

Having taken multiple Advanced Placement and Honors classes throughout my high school career, I have consistently challenged myself with rigorous courses. Dedication towards bettering my business prowess is shown through my class choices of Economics, Principles of Business and Marketing, and Entrepreneurship during my Sophomore and Junior years. All of these classes have assisted me in building time management, communication, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills. Maintaining a grade point average that is nothing less than excellent, a 1350 SAT score and all 4s on my AP exams thus far are a reflection of my drive and work ethic.

Applying the skills and knowledge gained from my course load, in my free time, I consult with other companies and manage my business: JMC PRINCESS LLC. JMC PRINCESS LLC cultivates young talent, timeless and unique clothing designs, catchy tunes, and amazing content (all available on jmcprincess.shop) to build its notoriety amongst the community. Along with managing, I also am the chief editor, songwriter, website developer, accountant, marketing manager, salesperson, graphic designer, and entertainer for this business. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” This firsthand experience is what attracted me to the technicalities of the field of business.

In regards to community service, I have volunteered with the Jamaica-based, non-profit organization Old Harbor and Friends Association in their soup kitchen events in New York, since the summer of 2023. With my hard work, drive, and determination, my business is one step closer to my ultimate passion project: the GIRLS CLUB INITIATIVE—a girl empowerment nonprofit. This initiative encourages girls to work hard and play harder by providing an outlet where the future generation of women can discuss their lifestyles and interests, tutor in schoolwork, share new skills, and take group trips. In the future, with the help of my business team, my bachelor's degree, and the networks that I build in college, I hope to create innovative ways to curtail the rising issue of child trafficking to improve the safety and prosperity of the children.
