Joanna Barajas

I am currently a Black Hawk College student who hasn’t really been sure about what I wanted to major in. I finally decided and I want to go into the business area. I work in a construction company and have been taught a lot already about a business. I have learned to use many computer programs, learned a couple legal and illegal rules all businesses should follow, and I am still learning way more. I really want to purse into graduating Black Hawk College with my associates of applied science and transferring to Western Illinois University to achieve my bachelors. I love working independently, but also work great with a group. I go above and beyond the expectations. Something I do want to do is volunteer more in my community, I want to help others without them returning that favor. I love making people happy, and love being able to be their helping hand. I believe I will accomplish my goal into becoming a business owner one day.
