The University of Missouri-Kansas City has a high level of education I would have never guessed attainable to me. I will push myself to higher limits and reach the impossible. I am a person who came from nothing and knows what it takes to make yourself greater than what was ever expected.
My entire high school career I worked my tail off, withholding my position in the top ten percent of my class, being enrolled in honors and AP classes, as well as taking college courses. These actions where to taken to prepare myself for receiving a college education, then ultimately leading to an ideal career and fulfilling my childhood dreams. I am Hispanic female whos dream is to obtain a career in dentistry where I plan to later build a practice and give back to my community, inspiring those around me, proving anything is possible.
I am one who exceeded my expectations in both academics and community involvement. I am a hardworking student who steered clear from trouble makers, drop outs, drug addicts, and created a new title for myself, ACHIEVER.
