Goals and interests
- Outside the classroom
Reading and studying are my hobbies now. Before my spinal cord injury, I enjoyed playing golf; after rehabilitation, I have been relearning to use my hands and change my perspective on life. I walk with a walker now but I am going to try to walk with a cane at graduation. I have one year, and can do so, a little bit, by rerouting my motor skills through my brain instead of through my nervous system. I try harder every day and have noticed improvements. A positive attitude is a must!
