Goals and interests

Career goal

Upon graduation, aerospace/mechanically oriented fields - such as designing currently untested airfoil designs and racing triathlon bikes - is my ultimate goal.

Graduate school interests

Having a background in physics is a stair-step I am taking towards turning to mechanical engineering in graduate school.

Outside the classroom

Triathlons and racing is my main hobby. The goal when I return to Ironman Texas 2018 is to win the qualifying slot in my age bracket to the world championships in Kona, Hawaii.
Aside from triathlons, I also enjoy trail running, exploring, and figuring out the mechanics behind how various tools and objects work.
