About

I am a healthcare professional and graduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where I am pursuing an MBA with a focus on healthcare leadership, with an expected graduation of May 2027. I currently work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist across multiple hospital systems, providing critical care services to some of the most medically vulnerable patient populations. My clinical experience has shaped not only my technical expertise, but also my commitment to ethical leadership, patient advocacy, and workforce development in healthcare.

Beyond bedside care, I am deeply invested in mentoring, education, and organizational improvement. I have served as a clinical instructor and preceptor for respiratory therapy students and new graduates, helping bridge the gap between academic preparation and real-world practice. I am passionate about improving onboarding, training, and professional support systems to ensure both patient safety and clinician well-being—an issue I have seen firsthand throughout my career.

My academic and professional journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a strong desire to lead with integrity. Balancing demanding clinical roles with graduate studies has reinforced my belief that effective leadership in healthcare requires empathy, accountability, and a willingness to challenge systems that no longer serve patients or providers well. I aspire to advance into leadership roles where I can influence policy, strengthen healthcare teams, and contribute to sustainable, patient-centered organizations.

I am honored to be a member of the Honor Society and view this recognition as both an achievement and a responsibility. Through continued education, service, and leadership, I aim to make a meaningful impact on healthcare systems and the communities they serve.
