About
I am a senior at California Baptist University. I am studying to receive my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree in May 2017. I am a single mom wanting to help provide a life for my son and myself, as well as to prove that single parents can achieve their goals in life and being successful.

This scholarship was awarded for a minimum 3.2 GPA graduating highschool, as well as a min. 1200 SAT and/or min. 21 ACT scores
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would love to work in a hospital as a nurse for either Obstetrics or Pediatrics. I would also like to one day teach prenatal classes for soon-to-be mommies and daddies, which includes how to get through the labor and delivery process of having a baby, how to care for a newborn, car seat safety, nutrition for mommy and baby, and more.
- Graduate school interests
I currently am not looking into Grad School programs at this time, but maybe in the future, if it works out, I would like to get my teaching credential to either be a Nursing School Professor or a Clinical Professor.
- Outside the classroom
Crocheting, Walking, Swimming, Learning new things about nursing, such as caring for patients and different disease processes.
Currently working as a Student Nurse at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, Ca.
