My name is Josa Spencer and I currently reside in Brandon, MS. I am employed at GV "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center where I am the Assistant Nurse Manager of the Inpatient Mental Health Unit. I have been a Registered Nurse for 8 years, working in Med-Surg/Pediatrics and Mental Health. I have been married for 2 years and have a 1 year old daughter. I am currently a student at UAB seeking a Master's degree.

After graduation, I intend to work on an inpatient or outpatient mental health unit, attending to patient's psychiatric needs on a daily basis.

I am currently in grad school to receive my Master's degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am excited about being a part of the Honor Society.
