About
My name is Jose Quezada. I am a high school senior in California and I’m an incoming college freshman at Fresno State University. I have been invited to join the Honor Society in November 2022. At first, I thought that it is not worth it, but with a bright future, I am now considering joining in the future. Once I graduate with my bachelor’s degree, I am planning to go to UCLA to earn a PhD in psychology as well as study abroad in England at Oxford University to get some experience working with a variety of people outside of the United States. I was diagnosed with autism in 2016. At the time, I thought that I would not have many opportunities or be successful like anyone else, but when I underwent ABA therapy in May 2018 until October 2022, I found hope for those struggling. It is hard for me to socialize with others, but I am never losing hope and I am willing to fight the international mental health crisis with strength. I have had over seven years of experience in psychology and four years of applied behavior analysis. I do care for the world’s well-being and I have a vision that we would all live with peace. Not only I want to be a psychologist, but I am also planning to become a part-time actor to not only earn some experience and awards, but also share a message to the world that we can all be successful and compassionate.
