About

As I continue to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Kean University, I do understand that the fundamental purpose of education in a person is to transform society positively in the social, political, cultural or economic spheres. As George Washington Carver, once said, “No individual has any right to come into the world and go out of it without leaving behind his distinct and legitimate reasons for having passed through it.” I therefore believe that I have a duty to make a positive contribution in the society.

I have 10 years management work experience in the nonprofit sector and currently, I work with a nonprofit organization called The Arc of Middlesex County as a residential Manager.

I have completed different courses on Humanitarian affairs for UNHCR and Peace Support Operations offered by the University Of Wisconsin And The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). I was also awarded a one year Scholarship to study political leadership by a Germany Foundation called Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in 2007.

I’m member of Amnesty International, United Nations association of the USA and the Honors Society.

During my spare time, I manage my blog whose theme is governance and leadership practices in the developing World. Besides, I have written many articles about leadership, equity and equality and social justice which have been publicized in the following Kenya, USA, Argentina, Uganda and Tanzania.

To impact the community as a leader, mentor, manager, organizer, advisor and defender of social justice, I founded a nonprofit organization based in Newark New Jersey whose mission is to address the challenges facing individuals coming out of jail. We shall kick starting our programs by end of 2016 with tailored programs focusing on skill training, psychiatric support, housing and medical support to individuals coming out of jail. This will reduce Recidivism which is rampant in the area.
