About

I am a stay-home mother of four children ready to re-enter the workforce in a new career. I am currently enrolled at Arizona State University where I have made the Dean's List each semester and was invited to the Honor Society. I have learned to balance my family life with my school work. Aside from being a stay-home mom, I was previously a teacher and have experience teaching music and also working with special needs children. I have a deep passion for helping others which is why the field of nursing is perfect for me. My goals are big and I am very lucky to have the full support of my husband and family. After I complete my BS in Community Health I wish to pursue a Master of Science and Nursing and a Doctoral Nurse Practitioner Degree. I look forward to working as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Outside the classroom

Gardening is a hobby I enjoy and share with my children. We love to be out in nature, working with soil, and watching our hard work grow into a beautiful garden. We have grown fruits, vegetables and many kinds of flowers.
Hiking is also a hobby we enjoy as a family. We have always made it a priority to get to know our nature and enjoy its beauty.
