About

My name is Joshua Kinder and I'm currently attending Florida Institute of Technology and majoring in Computer Science. So far my academic accomplishments consist of receiving my high school diploma, Cambridge diploma, and associates degree which I obtained while dual-enrolled throughout my sophomore to senior year. I like playing guitar though I'm not very good at it and going to the gym for which the same sentiment can probably be applied. And finally, I hope to be able to attend FIT and achieve my B.S. in computer science and not go broke doing it.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently heading towards a career in computer science whether that be software developing or engineering, etc. however I would like somehow to be involved in space exploration and astronomy such as NASA though that's not something that I have set in stone really.

Graduate school interests

Currently I'm planning on attending Florida Institute of Technology for the spring semester and continue on at the university until I earn my B.S. in computer science.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy playing guitar and going to the gym though I can't say I really have too many interesting hobbies

Volunteering

  • Varied, I did various tasks such as helped with filing and other required work at the guidance office as well as helping various teachers with prepping and cleaning of classrooms. This was all in effort for the Bright Futures Scholarship requirement of 100 or more volunteer hours which I met at I believe around 109.
