Joshua Loveday

Current Junior at East Tennessee State University as a Pre-Medicine Biology major with a concentration in BioMedical Sciences. Inaugural class member of EQUIP which is a pre-acceptance program at my university for pre-med students specifically desiring to apply to Quillen College of Medicine. I am taking the MCAT this summer and studying for it in addition to all of my regular semester classes. I am from a rural community and plan to practice family medicine in a rural community one day to serve the underserved and those without necessary resources. I will do this as a primary care family physician. Currently an honors student at ETSU and member of Phi Sigma Pi honors fraternity. Years of experience in phlebotomy, pharmacy, telemetry, immunizations, and hospital patient care. Financial scholarships would be immensely beneficial for my academic future as the financial portion of college is monumental, especially for a pre-medicine student.
