About
I am a Systems Security Engineer who likes to build safe and strong digital systems. I set up security tools that help teams stay protected and meet their goals. I solve hard problems by breaking them into clear steps. I follow trusted rules and use new tech when it makes the system better. I work well on my own and with teams.
I am growing my skills in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). This helps me make good choices and manage risk in smart ways. My career goal is to work in cybersecurity and software engineering. I want to build safe digital systems that protect people and help businesses grow.
Currently advancing expertise through specialized coursework in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to strengthen strategic risk management capabilities. Positioned for a high-impact cybersecurity career focused on
securing enterprise systems and driving continuous improvement.

- Graduate school interests
I am deeply interested in pursuing graduate studies in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or Information Assurance. My goal is to deepen my understanding of how organizations can proactively manage cyber risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and build resilient security frameworks.
I’m particularly drawn to programs that emphasize:
• Advanced risk management strategies
• Cyber law and policy
• Security auditing and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA)
• Threat intelligence and incident response
• Research in emerging technologies like AI in cybersecurity
Graduate school will allow me to build on my hands-on experience and certifications, while contributing to research and innovation in the cybersecurity field. I’m also interested in interdisciplinary programs that combine technical expertise with business, law, or public policy.- Outside the classroom
Cybersecurity Challenges & Competitions: I enjoy participating in capture-the-flag (CTF) events and cybersecurity competitions like the National Cyber League and CCDC, where I can apply my skills in real-world scenarios.
Tech Workshops & Mentorship: I’m passionate about learning and sharing knowledge through hands-on workshops, especially in areas like UNIX, Kali Linux, and ethical hacking.
Community Engagement: I take pride in mentoring peers and engaging with student clubs, helping others navigate their academic and technical journeys.
Problem Solving & Simulation: I enjoy building threat simulations and conducting penetration testing to explore vulnerabilities and improve system defenses.
Space & Science Exploration: My participation in NASA’s L'SPACE program reflects my curiosity about space, science, and interdisciplinary innovation.
