About
I am a dedicated student and special education professional who is committed to supporting children with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and social needs. Through my studies, I have developed a stronger understanding of special education law, assessment, IEP development, classroom instruction, behavior support, collaboration, and inclusive teaching practices. I have been able to connect what I learn in my courses directly to my work in a behavioral special education classroom.
I take pride in being dependable, compassionate, patient, and willing to advocate for students. My professional experience has helped me understand the importance of building positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and other school staff. I am especially interested in helping students become more independent, communicate their needs, participate in classroom activities, and make meaningful academic and behavioral progress.
I have maintained a 3.89 GPA while balancing school, employment, and personal responsibilities. I have also been recognized as Employee of the Month for my dedication and strong performance at work. These achievements demonstrate my commitment, work ethic, and ability to succeed in challenging situations.
My goal is to continue growing as an educator and become a knowledgeable, supportive, and effective special education teacher. I want to create a safe and inclusive classroom where every student feels respected, understood, and capable of success. My education and work experience are preparing me to make a positive difference in the lives of students and their families.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career plan is to become a licensed special education teacher. I currently work in a behavioral special education classroom, and this experience has confirmed that I want to continue helping students with academic, behavioral, social, and communication needs. After completing my program, I plan to obtain my teaching license and create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom. My long-term goal is to help students become more independent, successful, and confident.
