About

Currently I am attending WSU to finish my BS in psychology major and minor in human development. I work with two not for profit organizations educating families, peers, educators and professionals on mental illness for both the National Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. I have been selected and honored to speak at national conferences on reducing stigma for people that have mental illnesses and their families. I teach relationship mindfulness to families and dialectical behavioral skills to people who have a family member that suffers from or has been diagnosed with a major mental illness. Recently, I volunteered for a year to teach mindfulness to second graders. My goal is to go on to graduate school and study developmental aspects of psychology pertaining to behavior, personality and the environment.
