About
I am presently a student at the University of Houston, studying Communication with a concentration in Advertising (as well as a minor of English) - Obviously I wanted the longest degree program I could pronouce.
My passsions include reading classical novels, rejuvinating in nature, and cooking, but above all, Art! I have been painting for about two years now and I am continuously blown away by the results of pure practice and committed time. During my duration as a student, I plan to work diligently in developing my writing skills as well as gaining a better understanding of graphic design principles.
Through combining my artistic ability with an evolved education, I have true hopes, however unreasonable they may be, that my words and art may someday comfort the world.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
What a very good question! In my short time as a student at the University of Houston, the influence from my professors has truly helped me gain a better understanding of the career paths that will allow me to lead a fulfilling and happy life. I have tremendous hopes for my time at university in helping me develop my writing and artistic passions. My purest dream is to someday be able to live comfortably off of my art; However, the starving artist path was not exactly of glamorous appeal to me. By taking advertising and writing for print and digital media courses, I feel I will have the oppurtunity to learn more about my style own personal style of creativity. I must remind myself how tremendously lucky I am to have been given such a creative streak, one that fights everyday to be set free. Speaking in the broad terms of 'someday,' I want take these artistic skills, in combination with my education, and create something that is remarkably my own. The highest of my hopes is to find a way to take my passion for paint and color, and intertwine that with my love for words.
