Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to learn more about accounting, finance, and other business principles to advance in the field of banking. I’ve learned the basics of these things working at the Bank, but I want to learn how it makes up the bigger picture. I know the debits, credit, transactions, and payments we do every day is an important part of how the bank makes money and does business, and I want to learn more advance concepts to grow and develop as a banking professional.

Graduate school interests

Looking more into the future, I feel that with my business degree, I would want to pursue a graduate degree where I am able to continue to advance my career with both my experience and education. I would probably stay close to home and go to another regional university, or get my degree online. Getting an MBA would be a good fit since I think I’d like to work at a bank, or maybe another business in the financial industry, where I can put what I’ve learned into use. I believe when I graduate I will have a good balance of education and work experience that will allow me to do well as I continue to advance my career.

Outside the classroom

I find myself busy with work and school, as well as things with my church. It’s always nice when I have some free time to do things that interest me. These are just a few of my favorite hobbies.
One of my hobbies is practicing on the bass. I like to practice new songs or try out new things my worship pastor teaches me. I’ve been playing for over three years now, and getting to play is something special to me. If I’m on the phone, or have a few minutes before I have to go to work, I’ll pick up the bass and try to play different little parts. I love to learn and to get better.
Another pastime I have is spending time with my two little brothers. I love them very much, and any time I can spend is fun. I will sometimes go to their games – they play soccer, baseball, and basketball, so I always try and cheer them on when I can. I also like to take them to the theater to see a new movie they’d like. We sometimes also go to McDonald’s to get something to eat.
I also like finding ideas for crafts or snacks on Pinterest. There are a lot of really great ideas for crafts and decoration that I sometimes like to try. There are also many cute and tasty snacks I sometimes try to do for parties and special events. There are so many creative people on there, and I love to try their examples or get inspiration for my own.
Last, and one of the most important, is that I also like to go places with my friends. My friends and I will go shopping, or have lunch together, or go to a movie. I also like talking to them and catching up when I see them at school, work, or my church. Sometimes I am very busy with work and school, but I like to spend time with friends when I can.
There are other things I like to do when I have free time, but these are the main ways I enjoy myself and pass the time
