Hello, my name is Julius Castillo (he/him). I am a second-year bioengineering major with an emphasis in biotechnology at UC Merced. My goal is to develop tools that prevent degenerative disease and slow the effects of climate change.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to develop biotechnology at a company like Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson.
- Graduate school interests
I want to get my Master's and Doctorate Degrees at either Stanford, John's Hopkins, or UC Berkeley. I will do this after I finish my Bachelor's Degree and get a stable job.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I like to play music, exercise, read books, and watch movies and TV shows.
