Julius McDonald

My name is Julius McDonald I am an active Biblical studies and Biblical history teacher volunteering at Journey Community Church’s youth ministry in Augusta GA for the last 7 years. I teach and mentor High School boys and I design curriculum for and teach, adult Access group bible study classes. I have had a passion and gift for teaching ever since I was a teenager and have been involved in it most of my adult life. I recently chose to pursue teaching as a primary profession by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in History Education. But I received a very definite call into the ministry of teaching and preaching God’s word, upon which, I switched my History Education Degree over to a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion/Biblical Studies at Luther Rice College and Seminary and graduated in December 2022. I also work as a fulltime Biblical Studies Teacher for High School students with Augusta Christian Schools teaching the 9th-12th graders. My intent is to gain a Masters/PHD Degree in Psychology and remain in K-12 education as a teacher and counselor.
