About
I am currently a freshman student at the University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Kinesiology-Athletic Medicine. I intend on becoming an M.D specialized in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. I balance being both a full time student as well as being an Instrument Technician in surgical services within the University Health System Hospital. Experience such as this and volunteering through the Honor Society will contribute to me impacting the community.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I look to become a physician specialized in orthopedics/athletic medicine. A liking for the hospital environment and patient care has led me to wanting to play a role within the medical field.
- Graduate school interests
Entering Medical School or Physical Therapy School will broaden my studies within the area of medicine. Furthering my studies will better my understanding of the medical field and will lead me to becoming an M.D.
- Outside the classroom
Running has been an interest of mine. Struggling with asthma it has bettered my health and overall well-being. It has allowed me to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I also look to running more marathons in the future.
