About
Hi! My name is Justin and I am an Applied Linguistics major at Ashford University. I have always had a burning passion for language, and have taught myself Spanish and German to a competent level. Studying the aspects of language itself, as well as foreign languages, is something I enjoy to the extent that I can get lost in it and lose an entire day without realizing. On top of that, I have been working as a butcher for nearly a decade, and I offer personal training as well. In these regards, fitness is a huge part of my life and has been a great aid in helping me structure and organize my time through out the day. I am certified through the I.S.S.A. (International Sports Science Association) as a Person Trainer and Athletic Nutritionist. I am also certified through the USAPL (U.S.A. Power Lifting) as a strength coach. I was heavy set most of my life and when all was said and done I lost over one hundred pounds, and have competed in Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting competitions.
I have a strong passion for books and reading. Currently I have my own library of five book shelves stuffed with books. Honestly, its probably time for another bookshelf, but where will I put it?! I do hope to write my own book, or books, one day and am sure this is a goal I will achieve.
Speaking of goals, I like to think that I am a very goal driven person. I learned from a young age that if you want to accomplish something, one must take initiative and put in the work to achieve that goal. I have done this with music, literature, fitness, and with my current job skills. I attained every single goal I have tried to achieve, regardless of obstacles and setbacks that may have occurred, and there are plenty. And now it is time for me to earn my degree and start my dream business.
I want to open my own LLC Language Acquisition business. I want to help people learn a new language, and gain a deeper understanding of the various aspects, methods, theories, and overall importance of language itself. There is no other market for this in the area of which I live, and I feel this dream can be accomplished with great success. I will help people, I will make my mother proud, and I will take pride in shaping future generations in what I will create.
