Goals and interests
- Career goal
I currently work as a firefighter/paramedic at a full-career department. I have been a a full-time firefighter/paramedic for the past ten years. In 2014 I graduated from a local community college with a degree as a Registered Nurse. I also work as a Registered Nurse in a surgical intensive critical care unit. I would like to further my career as a Nurse Practitioner First Assist. In the spring of 2016 I completed my BSN from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and now I have my focus on becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
- Graduate school interests
Currently I am enrolled at the University of Alabama in a dual enrollment program for both Family Health Practitioner as well as Mental Health Practitioner. I hope to be able to best server my patients and families by obtaining the knowledge available and putting it into practice.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy closed road course racing, boating and physical fitness. I love spending time with my family and taking them on road trips and making life-long memories.
