I am An undergraduate intending to become a crime scene investigator with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). To do this I would begin with earning my bachelors of science in forensic investigation from Jacksonville state university, focusing on the Criminal investigations field of study. This program focusing on the specialized framework required for crime scene processing, evidence handling, forensic documentation, and digital forensic investigation. after graduation I would apply to the GBI, aiming to become a special agent or crime scene specialist. This requiring passing a competitive selection process, completing GBI’s Basic Agent Course, and potentially attending additional training like the National Forensic Academy. Additionally training and experience being acquired through college programs and such offered at JSU.

After graduating from Jacksonville state university I intend to apply for lower job opportunities and such to acquire the needed experience in order to stand a chance in the GBI‘s competitive selection process. My end goal being to work as a crime scene specialist for the GBI.

In my spare time I typically practice my instrument; I play the euphonium both on a semi professional and recreational level. Besides music my only other hobbies would be attempting to professionally play video games in my spare time, reading, hiking, and lastly fishing/camping.
