About
My purpose is to revolutionize the fashion and beauty industry through STEM.
To begin my career ambitions, I am starting with my scholarly pursuits. I am currently in the process of receiving my Master of Science degree in UX Design and Research (Human Computer Interaction) at the University of Michigan.
Prior to the University of Michigan, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Graphic and Printing Science Multimedia, double-minors in Fashion Merchandising and Art, and certification from Lee Honors College.
Prior to Western Michigan University, I excelled at Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southwest (OSTCSW) within the Visual Imaging Program in Wixom, MI.
In short, I have over 15 years of design experience.
With my advanced qualifications in UX design, research, graphic design, art and fashion I have many ambitions and goals I am bringing to fruition including relaunching a Black student STEM organization, one-day producing a documentary regarding misogynoir from qualitative research, and launching a world-wide platform dedicated to uplifting Black women/girls/non-men.
In other words, I am determined to positively impact society on a local, national, and global scale.
