About

My name is Kaitlin Berg, I am 23 years-old. I was born and raised in a small town in Rice Lake, WI. I grew up on a hobby farm, I love to ride horse and Barrel Race/ Rodeo. I also raised market lambs for our county fair. Aside from my country lifestyle, I love to spend time on the lake. I enjoy fishing and water skiing.

I went to Rice Lake high school and graduated in 2015. From there I went to College at UW Barron County and graduated in 2018. While I was there I received my Associates Degree in Arts & Science and I moved to Oklahoma. I worked on a horse ranch that was ran by my trainer. I worked horses, fed animals, and ran in Barrel Races while I was down there. I moved back home in March 2020, and decided that it was time to further my education.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to work with children that grow up in troubled homes. I didn't have the easiest childhood growing up, so I can somewhat sympathize and relate to kids who face neglect and abuse. I want to work one-on-one with kids and their parents or I want to be a therapist to kids who have endured mental trauma.

Right now I am not 100% sure what I am going to do, but that is the rout I intend on pursuing.

Graduate school interests

I am focusing on one thing at a time, and right now that is getting my Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. However, if I decide to continue onto grad school; I would like to receive my masters in either therapy, counseling, or teaching.
