Goals and interests

Career goal

After I have completed my education at OSU, I really look forward to teaching at an Ag school. My goal is to train our youth on the ins and outs of efficiently raising, maintaining, showing and marketing livestock. I would like to see them actually take part in this, market the livestock they raise in order to help pay for their project and ultimately become a part of the livestock production for their own community. This would also help the small businesses in the area by providing them with a fresh locally produced product. In addition, I hope to help the youth and their families see the value of agriculture and its products. I am a Sophomore here at OSU majoring in Animal Sciences and Teaching. I absolutely love this field of study and look forward to bringing our youth into the world of Agriculture and Production.

Outside the classroom

I have several different hobbies that I love to partake in such as: showing livestock, hiking, skiing, fishing, singing, oil painting, country western dancing, ballroom dancing, and Archery.
