About
I am currently an art student double majoring in Art Education and Studio Art & Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. I am studying to become an art teacher, either at the middle school and/or high school level-I have not decided quite yet. Art has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a little kid. My mom is the one who introduced me to the colorful world where I can let my imagination and creativity flow. Art class was always my favorite and being in the studio allowed me to be in my element.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently studying to become an art teacher. I would love to teach at either the middle or high school levels and maybe one day, the college level. Also, I am hoping to one day open my very own art shop; part store, part studio. The vision I have for my shop is that I'll sell art supplies, have an open studio available to the public where they can paint pottery objects, a smaller studio in the back to hold art lessons as well as my own private studio and perhaps a gallery to hold shows like local high school ones.
- Graduate school interests
After earning my bachelor's degree, I plan to get my masters in Art Education.
- Outside the classroom
Aside from creating artwork, I have several hobbies that include baking and playing soccer as well as sitting down with a good book. Also watching binge-worthy shows on Netflix.

I help create ceramic clay pendants to sell to raise money for ovarian cancer research. Creating these pendants involves rolling, pressing stamps, and cutting clay then firing them in the kiln. Afterward, the pieces are then decorated using oil pastel and coated with paint. A former art teacher of mine started this in memory of her daughter who had passed away of ovarian cancer in her college years.
