About

My name is Kaitlyn Jones, and I am an Occupational Therapy major at Husson University as well as a member of the Husson Women's Soccer team.

I chose this field because I have always enjoyed working with and helping others, especially in ways that support independence and confidence in everyday life. I also know that I would not be fulfilled in a career where I am sitting at a desk all day. I want a profession that allows me to be active, engaged, and directly involved with people as they work toward their personal goals. Occupational therapy fits this perfectly because it combines problem-solving, human connection, and hands-on care.

I'm also very passionate about community service and have been involved with volunteer work for many years, participating in the Best Buddies program, which promotes acceptance and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as participating in Beyond The Game, which is a community outreach program created by my fellow teammates.
