About
From elementary school until now, I have been on an advanced track in mathematics. I enjoy teaching people and have been tutoring from a young age. Watching someone's face light up when they finally understand a concept they are having trouble with is such a rewarding feeling. I have studied in mathematics with extra practice since high school, including mathematics clubs. The history I have with mathematics is what led me to this degree, as I started in an arts degree. Education has such a special place in my life because I feel changing and updating the system we have right now is an important part in children's future.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After obtaining my masters degree in Education for Mathematics, I plan on teaching in high schools and doing research to then continue into the standardized testing field for research.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on obtaining my bachelors degree for Secondary Education in Mathematics, and then continuing on to get my masters.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy creating art in my free time (as I started in an arts degree originally) as well as hiking on trails near my home. Also, I grew up in a part of Pennsylvania that is farming country, so I enjoy going for trail rides on horses too.
