Kala Welcher

I would love to be an OB/GYN. I am going to attend Georgia State University as the class of 2020 and I plan on taking all of the courses needed to get to my goal. I would love to be accepted into an internship and be able to work closely with obstetricians and gynecologists so that I can get a real world/hands on aspect of it all.

I spend most of my time juggling all of the clubs I'm in. I am in Tribal Connections which is a student government program at my school. I also am a member in a club called Sources of Strength (SOS), which is a suicide prevention organization. I am also in Link Crew and in this group we help the freshmen in my school make an easy transition from middle school to high school. I also take part in the North Cobb Leadership committee. This is where all of the leaders of my school meet together to see what we can do to improve our school as a whole. I am also on the step team and the dance team. I take part in planning prom and homecoming as well. Although it may seem a lot to handle I manage because I truly do love every single club that I am in.
