Goals and interests

Career goal

I currently work at Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse State Parks as a Parks Worker. I plan to continue working for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in Parks and Trails as an Office Administrative Specialist (OAS) after I receive my degree. Once I gain such a position I plan to continue my education by taking online courses to earn a degree in Office Administration to further expand my credentials for the possibility to work other positions within the Parks and Trails system, such as Administrative Specialist.

Outside the classroom

Everything that I love to do revolves around my love for enjoying the world we have been given. I love to explore our world by going traveling around the country (hopefully someday around the world), camping, canoeing, and hiking. I work in a State Park where I can help visitors make the most of their experience on the North Shore of Lake Superior. I play by enjoying a game of basketball with friends. I utilize the resources provided to us by hunting, fishing, berry picking, and gardening. Best of all, I get to capture all of this beauty through the lens of my camera and share it with the world.
