Kalyn Gollar

After graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree from The School of Arts with a major of Biology, I would like to attend graduate school. My goal is to attend graduate school out of state because I would like to broaden my horizon by traveling out of my comfort zone. My first few years of being a Dentist, I would love to travel out of the country for work before making a permanent practice in the United States. Eventually I would love to start my own practice and have a business myself. As you can see, I chose to minor in Business Management for this specific reason, so if I do choose to open my own practice then I have a degree to help me do so. Minoring in Psychology also helps significantly with customer interactions and understanding how to work with and attend to clients. Although, my main goal as a Dentist is to personable with my patients and successful with my practice. I want my patients to enjoy coming to the dentist and to feel as if they have a friendship with me, rather than feeling as if I am a stranger. I feel as if customer service can be key in having a successful business and being a successful Dentist.

Upon graduation from The University of Kentucky, I plan on attending a Dental School program.
