About
My name is Kanighsha Thomas. I am a senior who attends Lincolnton High School and I'm part of the class of 2022. Over the course of the years, I have always tried my best to keep my grades up and continue to be an A/B honor roll student and will continue to strive to keep that role. I do play basketball as well as track and field. I've been playing basketball since the 9th grade as a freshman but I have chosen to play JV basketball for 3 years. In my final year as a senior, I am playing Varsity basketball. The positions that I usually play on the court are point guard on offense and guard on defense. I did track and field my 9th and 10th-grade year, I do plan to do track and field again my final year as a senior. I honestly do enjoy doing the 100-meter dash and the 100-meter relay.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am striving to attend the University Of North Carolina At Greensboro (UNCG). There, I will study hospitality management, yet I haven't decided on whether I would like to work for a restaurant or for a hotel business. Hopefully, in the near future, I will have made my decision and will enjoy doing what I love which is to help people and make sure that they have a smile on their faces once they leave a business.
