Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am interested in building a career at the intersection of biotechnology, healthcare innovation, and business. I hope to study biotechnology while developing a strong understanding of finance and business. Long term, I an interested in roles within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in areas such biotechnology strategy, product development, or healthcare investment. I want to combine my scientific background with business knowledge to help develop innovative healthcare solutions and make them financially accessible to the people who need them. Growing up in Lagos made me particularly aware of how cost and access can determine who benefits from an innovation.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in graduate study in biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or related fields, with the possibility of pursuing an MBA or another graduate degree focused on business and finance. I am particularly interested in programmes that would allow me to combine scientific knowledge with business, innovation, and healthcare access. I am also open to pursuing further education in healthcare as my interests develop during university.
