About

I am unconventional and creative. I began my life in the Arts as a classically trained pianist, vocalist and composer; I am an arts education advocate. However, my undergraduate degree is in HRM. I use my creative and artistic abilities to bring unique solutions to challenges in the workplace. I have found that my unusual combination of skills has resulted in successful relationships, increased performance in my peers and new ways of seeing how to maximize every event as an opportunity. I am currently finishing a post-graduate program in Judaic Studies. This is one of my passions in life. I am thrilled to have been given the time to include this interesting field of study as a gift to myself in the form of personal enrichment. I am committed to reading, research and writing on this subject.
I am very skilled at raising funds and publicly addressing an audience. I draw upon all of my diverse experience to contribute the expertise of inspiring others and achieving the best results. I make a difference everywhere I go. I do not participate in anything that I am not passionate about. This means that I work relentlessly with joy because when I feed my passions, I am fulfilled. Whatever the project, task or cause at hand my be, I deliver ultimate success in the end result.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I desire to connect with an organization that educates the public about issues in the Jewish community. I wish to help further the understanding of Jewish culture, history and current issues. I believe I could make a difference by increasing the audience which supports such an organization. I could also increase the financial giving to such an entity by publicly speaking to an audience. I excel when presenting in front of others because my passion is contagious. I bring an approach that is my very own. I view the world from a position of empathy and employ this tool to provoke others to see their world in a different light. This makes me a consensus builder. I create unity by supporting people to speak with one voice. I eliminate splintering within a corporation by narrowing the criteria for the focus that dictates the main objective of the organization.

Graduate school interests

I intend to pursue my PhD

Outside the classroom

Aside from what I have stated as professional, I consider my love of Judaic Studies as well as my advocacy for arts education to be hobbies too. I still play classical piano. I practice meditation and study Buddhism for personal enrichment. I enjoy cooking, which I do six days week. I love traveling to France, which I do each year. I have a fascination with self-defense and have taken many courses on the subject. I journal and am currently working on a book. I have one daughter who is fantastic to be around. I have an amazing husband who is my champion. I also have a pug that brings me endless laughter. I live in an urban environment because I adore architecture and the urban lifestyle that brings diversity with it. My home is a sanctuary because it is all white and filled with art and simplicity.
