About

I am a full time healthcare worker working hard to earn my degree in Art History. I have worked full time during the pandemic with direct patient care while going back to school full time. I started at Oakton Community College in 2020 achieving my Associates in Arts and continueing to take Art History classes. The fall of 2021 I transfer to Loyola University to finish my BA in Art History. I have been a honor student while at Oakton and always had a GPA of 3.75 or higher during my semesters.
I am a adult student so I balance working over 40 hours a week, going to school full time and trying to mantain my life. Going back to school as a adult has changed my life for the better and I hope to achieve my PHD one day.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I would love to work with art in any aspect. Teaching art is another option I would explore

Graduate school interests

My interests while in grad school is to focus on oil paintings from Europe. French Impressionism is a major interst of mine alone with the Fauves period. Baroque art is another area I would not mind exploring becuase Vermeer is my favorite painter.

Outside the classroom

I love to garden. My dad and I have plants that we grow each year and are currently starting a seed bank. Our favorite plants to grow is corn and sun flowers.
