Karl Geronimo

I am a student of San Diego Miramar College working towards an Associate's Degree in Professional Aeronautics. Since my father is a former flight safety instructor and my sister currently works as a flight attendant, I am passionate about my dream to become an airline pilot. As such, I have always striven to excel in both mathematics and science, as well as in my current aviation subjects because I know this will set me up for success in a rewarding career at the airline industry. For instance, during my high school years, our mathematics instructors assigned us problems of the week which we would have to solve. We had to use our own creativity and ingenuity to solve the problems. When I came to college, I joined my university's mathematics club and became my batch's treasurer, a position which honed my skills in leadership, multitasking and communicating with different people. I sincerely believe that these three skills will enable me to be a model pilot in the future.
