About
My name is Katherine Canillas and I am currently attending Bergen Community College for my Associates in Broadcasting. I've always had an interest with cameras, what goes on behind the scenes, taking and giving directions, and having the power of creativity. Fall 2016 will be my last semester here at Bergen and I am working to get on my field as soon as I can.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I love working with others and Broadcasting is very involved working with all sorts of individuals. I intend to work with all ages and learn so much on the way. This will personally enhance my social skills, adaptability is key in order for everyone to work together. I eventually want to increase my versatility by also working both broadcasting and cinema field, similar but never quite the same.
- Graduate school interests
After pursuing in my broadcasting major, I hope to immediately start my experience hands-on to increase my knowledge, explore my skills, and get the feel of the environment.
I do not plan to go to Grad School for Broadcasting but I hope to pursue my Directing endeavors in Cinema studies. Broadcasting will be my backbone and something enjoyable to do.- Outside the classroom
I enjoy playing sports, cooking and baking, painting, drawing, and writing.
