About
My name is Katie Davis and I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin. I am pursuing my Bachelor in Business Administration, Finance and also taking real estate courses. I am an active member of the Texas URE program at McCombs so I will also graduate with my Undergraduate Real Estate Certificate. I am very involved at my university as well as in extracurricular activities outside of school. I am a member of Women in Business Association, Texas URE program, University Finance Association, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Gama Beta Phi National Honor Society. Outside of campus I am also an active member in Chi Omega Sorority, Texas Cowboys, and Student Mobilization. I also volunteer for two places: Boys and Girls Club of Austin and Reading Aces. I hope to one day use my dedication, motivation, and hard work ethic to own my own company.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin in 4 years with a Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance as well as the Undergraduate Real Estate Certificate. With this, I plan to go work for a bank for a couple of years to get some experience with commercial lending. With this experience, I will either go on to grad school and get my MBA in finance real estate or potentially start my own company.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on going to grad school after I work for a couple of years so that I can get my MBA in finance and or real estate. With this degree as well as my undergraduate degree, I will hopefully be able to start my own real estate company in Houston, Texas.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies are to hang out and socialize with my friends, to work out, play tennis, and be active outdoors. I love to wake board, surf and water ski on Lake Travis. I also am an active runner. I am also a foodie and love to try new restaurants and new foods.
