About
I am an aspiring psychology student with a double major in philosophy simply for a different perspective on the world. I hope to pursue the field of clinical psychology in some aspect to directly help others by applying behavioral and cognitive rehabilitative practices for one to use. I am affiliated in the APO service fraternity, ROTC program, and Twin Towers ( an on campus service fraternity ). Through my experiences with each, the most rewarding has always been direct help in the community. Help that I can see improve the lives of even just one person and bring even the most gentle smile to their face.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to graduate from Wofford in the year 2018, go on to obtain my masters degree, and hope to begin my work in local establishments such as the Greenville Hospital System. Another path that has highly interested me is to become an elementary school psychologist. Working at a child development center, even for a few months, has really brought light to my eyes that some of the most pure forms of happiness are from children. I absolutely adored working with them. Elementary school because those were personally some of my favorite years and I want that to be the same for other children.
- Graduate school interests
I am very big on staying close to the little family I have near by. My sister, brother-in-law, and 1 year old nephew live in the Greenville area. Within the next year or so, my mother and father plan to move up to this area too. My dream would be to go to UNC Charolette. However, near by schools such as Clemson, or Appellation State would make me just as happy as well.
- Outside the classroom
I love the friends that I have and spending time with them always brings me joy, but at the end of the day I do like my, what I call, "me time". What really rejuvenates me is making a mug of tea and painting. I am no Van Gough by any means, but I paint things for me and things I enjoy. Other things that make me who I am are playing soccer, music festivals, trail running, making jewelry, and traveling to new places even if they are right down the road.
