Kathryn Steele

I am currently a Criminal Justice- Forensic Science and Investigations, and geography student at Ashford University, University of Colorado Colorado Springs and The University of New Haven. I am from Black Forest, CO where I grew up and I my mum did foster care and my father was an estimator for State Farm Insurance. I come from a family of 9 with four sisters and two brothers and that is when my passion for volunteering came into play. I not only volunteer for the community but I also travel abroad and volunteer abroad. I am very determined, patient and like to go out of my comfort zone when trying new things. By doing that, I have outside of college received my certificates in EMD, EFD, ETC, EPD, CPR. I am also certified in Comp TiA Security+, Comp TiA A+902 Practical Applications, Comp TiA A+901 Essentials, Comp TIA Network and ItIL. That is also why I am going for three Bachelor degrees and two master degrees before I plan on going for my PhD. My main goal that I strive for the future is to be a voice for those who no longer have a voice and are no longer part of this world and bring justice to them in anyway that I can by going into the field of either Forensic Science or an Investigator for Human Trafficking.
