Katie Harnden

My name is Katie Harnden, and I will be beginning my senior year of high school in August. I am a hardworking and responsible student who always strives for challenges and improvement. I am a loyal, caring, selfless, and loving friend and a great listener. I am a strong and fearless leader who also eagerly listens to the ideas and thoughts of others. I have been a straight-A student all my life; I was my 8th grade class's valedictorian. I have taken multiple AP classes and plan to take three more my senior year. My GPA has consistently been between 4.0 and 4.14. I am a CSF member, and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. I am also involved in many extracurricular activies, organizations, and clubs, all of which I enjoy! I played softball for ten years (two years at the competitive level) and have run cross country for three years and will run this year as well. I have held multiple officer positions in my local 4-H club and will be the Co-Leader of the club this coming year. I was the secretary of my FFA chapter's floral design department for two years. I have been in choir for nine years and will be the president of my high school's choir department this coming year. I have accomplished a lot, and I'm excited for each new chapter in my life!
