Hello!
My name is Katie and I am a PBSC Honors Society member. I'm currently enrolled in prerequisites for the nursing program and obtain a 4.0. I pride myself on hard work, dedication, and passion for anything that I set my mind to! In addition to going to school, I work full time as the Medical Assistant for Palm Beach Dermatology Group at PGA Dermatology in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This job offers me so much opportunity for growth in the medical field and teaches me something new every day. My favorite part is getting the hands on experience with each patient, getting to know them on a personal level, and brightening their day with helping them feel better from the inside out. I enjoy building connections with people and learning what inspires others to do what they do. I'm never ashamed to not know the right answer and I am eager to learn. I hope that you will consider me for this scholarship and make me the happiest girl ever! :)

- Career goal
I would like to become a nurse and either continue on to CRNA school or pursue a career in Psychology and become a mental health therapist. I would like to specialize in pain management, but I am also curious about providing talk therapy and counseling services to all ages. I like to inspire people and give them tools to make themselves better in all aspect of their lives.
