About
Born and raised Iowan with a lifelong passion to serve others. I am a domestic violence and sexual assault survivor. I am neurodivergent and have a long history of mental illness. I truly believe that my past and my lived experiences allow me to connect with just about everyone. I work for a non-profit serving homeless youth who have aged out of foster care, have a history of trauma, or who are human trafficking victims. My greatest passions are homelessness prevention, human rights, women's rights, social justice, domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy, LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion, as well as equal educational opportunity for all.
