About
I am a dedicated educator and lifelong learner pursuing a degree in special education while working full time in a school setting. I am deeply committed to serving students who need consistency, structure, and strong advocacy. My work is guided by perseverance, integrity, and a belief that meaningful progress comes from steady effort and relationships built on trust.
I bring leadership into my daily work by listening to others, taking feedback seriously, and working through challenges with patience and professionalism. I value collaboration and approach both learning and teaching with purpose, reflection, and accountability. My goal is to continue growing as an educator who leads by example, remains dependable in difficult moments, and makes a lasting, positive difference in the lives of students and the communities I serve.

- Outside the classroom
Outside of my professional and academic responsibilities, my hobbies center around family, agriculture, and community. I enjoy working cattle and participating in cattle shows, experiences that have taught me responsibility, patience, and the value of hard work. These activities are deeply rooted in family tradition and provide meaningful time spent working toward shared goals.
I also value spending time with family and friends, whether through everyday gatherings or shared projects. These relationships keep me grounded, offer balance, and reinforce the importance of connection, teamwork, and support in both my personal life and professional work.

Long-Term Substitute Teacher
St. Joseph’s Children’s Home is a therapeutic residential and educational setting dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with complex emotional, behavioral, and educational needs. The program provides a structured, safe environment where students receive consistent care, academic instruction, and individualized support designed to promote stability, growth, and long-term success. The school setting emphasizes collaboration among educators, mental health professionals, residential staff, and families to ensure each child’s needs are addressed holistically. Students benefit from small class sizes, predictable routines, and trauma-informed practices that focus on skill-building, emotional regulation, and positive relationships. The mission of St. Joseph’s Children’s Home is rooted in compassion, accountability, and perseverance—helping students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed both in school and in life.
