Goals and interests

Career goal

I have a passion for kids that I plan to express this within my career choice of working along side a adoption or foster care facility. I have a heart for those that are labeled "hard to love". I personally believe that our current system for children in need is lacking and believe it needs some attention and support. I also believe this direction is not for everyone, as I examine the blessings and gifts I was given i see my self more pulled towards this career. I am a current student at UTA majoring in social work and minoring is sociology. I plan to use my studies to further understand the political and natural nature of society and how i can encourage individuals in their best personal direction.

Graduate school interests

Academic studies have always been important to me. I plan to extent my graduate career at the University of Texas at Arlington within their Social Work Masters Program. I have selected this prestigious program to prosuce because of the respect and credit I have formed for its graduate students and professors. I personally think highly of all the individuals I have encountered within the program and would be honored to be co-students of these outstanding students. I believe that higher eduction is important for any individual because of the dedication and commitment it proves. I also believe that higher education strengthens the mind in ways that the workforce can not.
