Kayle Growcock

My name is Kayle M. Growcock (Covert) I attended Pittsburg State University for the fall semester of 2014. During my semester at Pittsburg, I was apart of Pitt Pals, a program which helped international students become acquainted with the campus and all that America has to offer; and I was also involved with the Greek chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. After my semester at Pittsburg State, I decided to transfer to Johnson County Community College to finish out my general education courses. I made this transition to pursue my career goals through a job in Kansas City, and more importantly, to stay close to my family.
I have been employed since the age of 14 where I started my first job at Worlds of Fun as a costumed character. I became a Lead there at the age of only 16. Since then, I have held various other jobs such as baby sitting, server, waitress, and cashier. Today, I am currently a supervisor at the Great Wolf Lodge Resort in the Kids Experience Department. I was promoted at the age of 19 and this is where I am pursuing my career in hospitality management today.
Though I am a supervisor in the hospitality management department now, I am also pursuing a Criminal Justice degree in hopes to one day become a homicide detective. The justice system has always been a passion of mine, and it excites me every day to learn more and more about it.
