About
I am a Biotechnology student at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a passion for scientific research, community service, and mentorship. My academic interests include genetics, cell biology, regenerative medicine, and biotechnology innovation. Through biotechnology research projects involving PCR, DNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis, as well as an independent AP Research study analyzing social media influence on voter behavior, I have developed strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
Beyond academics, I am committed to serving my community. I work as a Youth Services Worker with Future LB, mentor students through the Youth Mental Health Academy, tutor K–12 students, and volunteer with organizations that provide resources to families experiencing hardship. As the oldest of three brothers in a single-parent household, I have learned the value of perseverance, leadership, and giving back to others.
My long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. and contribute meaningful research that advances human health while creating positive impacts in communities through science and education.
