Career goal: San Diego has one of the largest refugee populations in the United States. This has influenced me to choose Public Administration as my program of study. My career goal is to work with the under-served refugee population by helping them resettle and acclimate to their new surroundings. As a Master's of Public Administration student I strongly feel that it is my duty to dedicate my life to public service. I plan to participate in public service through policy reform, specifically regarding issues of immigration. Ultimately, I plan on pursuing a PhD. in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies.
